Last Night’s Celebratory Dinner

Written By: Michaelson Williams - May• 18•13

Last night some friends and I celebrated the release of my new fitness book The Ultimate Fitness Tips. I love to cook and this is what we had for dinner. Filet Mignon, mixed veggies, red wine, and my very own recipe double baked, double sweet sweet potatoes. Michaelson Williams Receipt Dinning 2Filets are fairly simple to prepare and cook so I will only be sharing the receipt for my sweet potatoes. This is a very simple and healthy fast burning carbohydrate recipe. What is a fast burning complex carbohydrate in my opinion? This is a complex carbohydrate that is naturally sweetened with less starchiness such as sweet potatoes, yams, bananas, etc. The body can process these types of carbohydrates faster than regular potatoes, rice, pasta, and bread. Here’s the recipe for my double sweet sweet potatoes. I promise you that you will love this and it will be hard to have leftovers, and that’s okay!

Recipe
Bake in the over 4 to 6 regular sweet potatoes, 45 minutes to 1 hour or until middle is soft.
Once cooked carefully cut away the skin and place in a mixing bowl.
Add one table spoon of butter or margarine.
1 tablespoon of raw all natural honey
Sea salt, 1 pinch or ¼ teaspoon
Cinnamon
¼ cut of skim or 1% milk
2 tablespoons of red wine, not cooking wine
Mash with a fork until most but not all of the lumps are out of the mixture.
Place in a cooking pot or skillet
Top with unsalted almonds and cut strawberries
Cover and place on the grill or back in the oven until the almonds and strawberries begin to sink into the potatoes.
That’s it, it ready to serve to your family and friends.
They will love you and you will look like a professional chef.
Enjoy!
